This is the SEHDMIX, a new site from the committee formally known as Digital Teaching and Learning (DTL).  Like most of us, this is a work in progress that lives in perpetual beta.

Our initial ideas...

We'd like the content here to avoid the long-form narrative, and instead focus on brief micro-learning bites.  Quick, focused, demonstrative, and to the point.

We'd like each contribution to be an invitation or a provocation or an open question. These are invitations to the open room.

We'd like the content to be multimodal - let us see and hear you - with a mix of text, audio, video, graphics, and any rich media or links to other areas of the Interwebs.  Mix it up.

We'd like this to be easy.  If you have something to share, we'll interview you - no problem.  We'll record, edit, and publish on your behalf.   Legwork, done. Or you can write, if your scholarly DNA compels you.  Keep it short.

We'd like posts to be conversation starters about creative teaching, learning, and student-success. We could call it innovative or strategic... but creative really feels good.  Productive feels good too.

We'd like to showcase creative praxis and creative people across the SEHD - shared periodically via a newsletter.   Maybe a digest once a month.  Not heavy articles, but bite sized snacks.  Less is more.

We'd like the site to be a repository of creative solutions, strategies, and ideas - a searchable library of examples and invitations so folks can  browse and discover praxis and people across the SEHD.   Contributions will be tagged, searchable, and findable.

Mostly, we'd like this publication to be (y)ours.  Let us know what you think!  Let us know what you'd like to see or contribute here.

Things will be up and running in full before too long.  We'll be sending our first newsletter to all of the SEHD in about a month.  In the meantime, if you'd like to contribute something feel free to connect with any member of the CTL (?) committee.   Creative Teaching & Learning (CTL) ?  Creative Collaboratory (CC)?  Creative Praxis & Community (CPC) ?

Not exclusively digital.  Nor analog.
